How Do Psychedelics Affect My Enlightenment?

My question is about the use of cannabis and other psychedelics. How and why is it that when I’m occasionally using, what I qualify as sacred plants and medicines, I’m more free than ever, enthusiastic, super psychic, I feel powerful beyond measure, eager toward life, and I finally see my true self that is radiating light and shining bright like a pure diamond?

Another question, In many natural tribes and traditions, psychedelic substances are used in specific sacred ceremonies to help people lift the veil, get insights about how energy works, help them with decisions in your life, etc. when I observed when I attended such ceremonies, most of the other attendees have not really having what they desire in their day to day lives. (In other words, what this person is saying is, when I go to these ceremonies and observe the participants, these people don’t seem to be having much good in their life. They’re not getting their desires and they aren’t happy. They didn’t seem like they have what I want. It doesn’t seem like it’s working because their their life isn’t going very well.)

Have you done similar things and is this used in any way in the societies? (We’re talking about psychedelics.) Why if? and why if not? …And there’s a bunch of other questions about psychedelics.
